Information we collect
When you send us an enquiry
Our enquiry form asks for your name, business name, email address, the services you are interested in and a short description of your project. We ask you not to include sensitive personal information.
At present the enquiry form is not connected to any delivery service, so information typed into it is not sent to us or stored anywhere.
When you email us
We receive whatever you choose to include, such as your contact details and the content of your message.
When you visit this website
Like any website, our hosting provider automatically processes basic technical information, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, in order to deliver the website and keep it secure. We do not use analytics or advertising tools, and we do not build profiles of visitors.
How we use your information
We use the information you send us to:
- reply to your enquiry and discuss your requirements;
- prepare a proposal or quotation if you ask for one;
- keep a record of our correspondence.
Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our services and, where you ask us to prepare a proposal, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. We do not use your details for marketing without your consent, and we never sell them.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with the service providers we need to run our business, who process it on our behalf and under appropriate agreements:
- Website hosting: [Hosting provider]
- Email: [Email provider]
If any of these providers process information outside the UK, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place. [Confirm provider locations and safeguards]
We may also disclose information where the law requires us to.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries and related correspondence for [retention period, e.g. 24 months] after our last contact, unless you become a client, in which case records are kept for as long as needed for the contract and our legal and accounting obligations.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- ask us to delete your information;
- object to, or ask us to restrict, how we use it;
- ask us to transfer it to another organisation, where applicable.
To make a request, contact us using the privacy contact above. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.
Cookies
This website does not currently set any cookies, and it does not use analytics, advertising or social media tracking. Our fonts are hosted on our own website, so viewing a page does not send your information to a font provider.
If we introduce analytics or any other non-essential cookies in future, we will ask for your consent before setting them and update this notice.
Changes to this notice
We will update this notice when the way we handle personal information changes. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
